The last of the Misty descendant mares, the beautiful WH Summer Breeze, captured on an 8x10 acrylic panel. Summer has been stallion Riptide's lead mare for several years now, guiding the band with quiet confidence. She was donated to the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Dept in 2018 along with five other mares to increase herd diversity and introduce Misty lines into the herd. She is now the sole survivor of that group, a living link to a treasured legacy. Her elegant Indian pony features combined with Riptide’s roguish good looks have produced several stunning foals that turn heads on the marsh and bring top dollar at auction.
